Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our website (artofcleanest.ca) and the cleaning services provided by Art of CleaNest Inc. (“Art of CleaNest”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By booking a service or using our website, you (“Client”, “you”) agree to these Terms.

Terms Of Service — 1. Services

Art of CleaNest provides residential and commercial cleaning services in Edmonton, AB and surrounding metro. Service offerings, inclusions, exclusions, and pricing are described on individual service pages. We reserve the right to update offerings and pricing; any updates apply to bookings made after the change.

2. Bookings

• Bookings can be made online (booking platform), by phone (587) 784-6020, or through our contact form.
• A booking is confirmed once we send you a confirmation email or SMS.
• You are responsible for providing accurate property information at booking. Inaccurate information (square footage, number of bedrooms, condition of property, pets, access) may result in price adjustments or scope changes on the day.
• Access arrangements (key, lockbox, FOB, smart lock, building concierge) must be communicated before the visit.

3. Pricing & payment

• Prices are stated in CAD and exclude applicable taxes (GST 5%).
• One-time residential: $60/hr per cleaner (4-hour minimum visit). Deep cleaning: $65/hr (6-hour minimum). Move-in / move-out: $65/hr (10-hour minimum). Post-construction, Airbnb, and Commercial: $50/hr per cleaner.
• Recurring discounts (weekly 20%, bi-weekly 15%, monthly 10%) apply once a recurring cadence is booked.
• Military and first responders: an additional 10% off, stacks with any recurring discount.
• Payment is due on completion of service. Accepted methods: credit card, e-transfer, cash.
• Returned or declined payments incur a $35 fee.
• Late payments (more than 14 days past due) accrue interest at 2% per month.

4. Cancellation & rescheduling

• 24+ hours notice: No charge.
• Within 24 hours of the scheduled visit: 50% of the visit price.
• Same-day cancellation (after the team is dispatched): Full visit price.
• Repeated late cancellations may result in termination of recurring schedule at our discretion.

5. Satisfaction guarantee

If you are not satisfied with the quality of work on any visit:

• Contact us within 24 hours of the visit.
• We will return within 48 hours to re-clean the specific area(s) of concern at no additional charge.
• This guarantee covers cleaning quality. It does not cover aspects outside our control (pre-existing surface damage, pet behaviour, unforeseen building issues, etc.).

6. Services we do not offer

We do not offer the following, and we reserve the right to refuse or terminate any service that falls outside our scope:

• Tall ladders or moving heavy furniture/appliances
• Cleaning in homes where indoor smoking occurs
• Biohazard cleanup (bodily fluids, animal waste, sharps)
• Outdoor cleaning, snow removal, or yard work
• Organising confidential paperwork or valuables
• Carpet and upholstery shampoo or extraction (we can refer you to a partner)
• Garage or balcony cleaning
• Exterior window cleaning

7. Access & safety

• The work environment must be safe and accessible. We may refuse to enter a property that poses a safety risk (structural damage, severe pest infestation, biohazards).
• You agree to disclose pets, allergens, and any conditions affecting the visit at booking.
• Our team may leave the premises if they feel unsafe, with proper notification.

8. Damage & liability

Art of CleaNest carries $2,000,000 CAD liability insurance (Sandbox Mutual Insurance) and Alberta WCB coverage (account #9809969).

If damage occurs during a visit, please notify us within 24 hours with photos. We will investigate and resolve fairly.

We are not liable for:

• Pre-existing damage
• Damage to items not disclosed at booking (valuables, heirlooms, electronics requiring special handling)
• Damage caused by products you have supplied
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

9. Photos & media

With your written consent, we may photograph rooms or areas for marketing or quality-control purposes. We do not photograph identifying information (personal documents, family photos, faces) without explicit permission.

10. Intellectual property

All content on artofcleanest.ca (text, photos, logos, layouts) is owned by Art of CleaNest Inc. or used under license. You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify our content for commercial use without written permission.

11. Website use

You agree to use the website lawfully. You may not:

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Submit false booking information
• Use the site to harass, defame, or harm others
• Scrape or copy content for commercial use

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the website or services after changes constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the laws of Canada applicable in Alberta. Any disputes shall first be addressed through good-faith mediation in Edmonton; if mediation fails, the courts of Alberta have exclusive jurisdiction.
